New Years Eve is in a retro 80's Dark Wave Style in the vein of bands such as New Order, Duran Duran or The Pet Shop Boys. A continuation down the road of exploring the dark 80's. The track was written about looking back on New Years Eve 2020 and how we never know what's going ti hit us down the line. As I write this I'm in hospital with a burst appendix. I certainly didn't see that one coming either.
